Loaders and Patterns

Free resources are grand. Here's a few you can use to spice up your galleries and web sites.

Loader Generator
Creates animated loaders. Use it to create load indicators for your lightboxes. I used this to create the animated loaders in both the TTG Slimbox and Shadowbox galleries.
Stripe Generator
Creates striped background patterns.
Tartan Designer
Creates tartan background patterns.
Pattern4U at Kollermedia
An archive of free background patterns in various styles.

Hi Matthew,

Is there a way I can use these free backgound patterns in the TTG galleries? I’d like to use something other than a block of color, what you’ve done with this site example is very nice, clean and simple background with a subtle dirt effect.

Many Thanks your very useful website and templates, my website build is ongoing,
Tom.

Tom,

Just copy the image file into the resources/images/ folder, then add this line to your gallery.css file:

body { background-image: url(../images/background.jpg) !important; }

Of course, you’ll have to make sure the filename is specified correctly, and you might want to double check the path, but, if memory serves, that should do it.
