Hi,

would it be possible to specify a maximum height for the photos, so that they all display evenly? One of the flash exporters for Aperture lets you do that, but I’d much prefer using Lightroom.

Thanks for all the templates.

No lucky on Flash or HTML version. Well, not totally true.
LR 1.0, on Mac OSX.

Flash version does not display within LR.
HTML version, displays within LR, seems that it all works, titles, etc. EXCEPT, no photos, just displays, capital “X’s”.

On Firefox/Safari: Mac Versions.

Well, it was just a matter of updating LR 1.0 to 1.1,
now all is working fine.
Mac OSX.

Great Job Mat!!
I was just wondering if the Identity plate can be moved to the top somehow as in the default galleries that come with Lightroom.

Also, is there a possibility of having complete Site Info in a Flash gallery i.e. contact info, mail to etc?

Thanks :o)

It’s possible, but the ID plate, being a PNG file, falls prey to PNG display problems in Internet Explorer 6. Thus, I chose to keep it at the bottom until such time as Adobe can supply a method to fix this (I’ve made a feature request, and I think it should be taken care of in the near future).

As for the other information, yes, you can add such information, but it would require editing of the index.html file. Are you comfortable with HTML?

The release here is, as you mentioned, based on the public (free) version of this gallery software. Are there plans to release a template that will allow the use of the pro version?

The reason I ask is that the free version allows for people to right click and view the image ina seperate window which then allows then to right click save the images to their hard drives, As a semi-pro photographer I do not want people to be able to do that with my images.

Thanks,
Stuart

Stuart,

The Pro version options aren’t controlled via XML settings, but are hard-set in the SWF file. There’s extra nothing can be done from within Lightroom using the Pro version. You would need to open the AutoViewer FLA file in Flash, set your options and then republish the SWF file. You could then use that SWF with the LR gallery to publish the gallery and XML file.
