TiltViewer by Airtight Interactive

TiltViewer is the latest piece of awesomeness to come out of Felix Turner at Airtight Interactive. Tiltviewer is a 3D Flickr browsing interface that, until recently, allowed users to peruse Flickr’s Interestingness list.

Felix has been hard at work making TiltViewer even cooler, though. It can now be used to show any user’s Flickr photostream by appending a user id number to the URL of the viewer.

Felix promises more improvements to come, making TiltViewer the something to keep an eye on.

Felix Turner has also produced the SimpleViewer, PostcardViewer, and AutoViewer galleries.

You can be sure as sunshine I’ll be making a Lightroom gallery for TiltViewer the moment Felix releases an XML version of the gallery.

Hi,

Wondering if your Lightroom gallery for Airtights simpleviwer is using his version 1.8 or not. If not, what version are you using and can it be upgraded by myself? Can I just swap out a couple of files or is there some editing involved, which I’m not adverse to do if not too involved. This is a great site, thanks.

I might be wrong, but Tiltviewer has been released in an XML version. Any chance there will be a Lightroom version released?

I have a half-assed build of a LR Tiltviewer gallery sitting on my hard disk right now. The biggest problem is that most of Tiltviewer’s settings are still read from Javascript in the index.html page, which means that none of them can be previewed in LR, as it doesn’t load the index.html page. There’s a few other issues as well.

If I can get something half-decent, rather than half-assed, together, I’ll release it. :)
