Update: Theater Add-on 1.0.2 Brings Passwords and Horizons

The horizontal-scrolling gallery is a classic design, but one that’s been in dire need of a modern overhaul. If you’ve been patiently waiting for a followup to CE2 Horizon gallery, our horizontal-scrolling gallery plugin for Lightroom from several years ago, then today is your day!

Backlight 1.0.4 Release 3 and Theater Add-on 1.0.2 are now available for download.

The Backlight 1.0.4 Release 3 update adds password support for Theater albums, and is necessary only for users of the Theater Add-on.

Theater Add-on 1.0.2 brings improvements to existing presentations, including captions support for Vegas Slideshow, and the new Flickity slider presentation.

Flickity is a highly customizable, touch-enabled slider, and can be used to create a variety of differently styled presentations. Here are just a few examples using Flickity:

  1. I do have a question about the versions.

How can I check the current active version of the different modules?

I have found the backlight dashboard, where it says: TTG Backlight version: 1.0.4
But not “revision” number. And I did not found where I can see the current version of the theater modul (beside the fact, that I should remember when I uploaded the file – but this might be tricky in the future).

Did I missed something or is it possible to include a version information page to backlight for future versions 🙂

    Thanks,
    Volker

    • Hi Volker,

There’s no place in Backlight to check the version number of installed modules. It’s a good idea, so perhaps in a future version.
