Free download, the new 2016 HTML Gallery

2016-html-gallery-hero

The 2016 HTML Gallery puts a new spin on its 2014 predecessor. Our classic, responsive image grid returns, but with single-image pages now replaced by a mobile-friendly, gesture-enabled lightbox presentation. Best of all, the gallery is completely free to download.

You can view the demonstration gallery online, or just click here to download the 2016 HTML Gallery for free.

Like the 2014 version, the gallery is built entirely of client-side HTML; it can be run online or offline. It also piggybacks on our existing translations by members of the Lightroom community and currently runs in the following languages:

  • Chinese
  • Danish
  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Korean

If you haven’t already got it, you can also download the 1.0.4 version of the 2014 HTML Gallery.

    1. Correct. I didn’t have time to get templates together, and I’m leaving for Laos early in the morning. I may update the thing after my trip to add templates. For now, you can easily use the 2014 HTML Gallery templates, via this technique.

  1. Got your update with the templates but where do they go? I’m guessing: /Library/. . ./Web Galleries/TTG-2016-HTML-Gallery.lrwebengine; and /Library/. . ./Web Templates/2016-Templates.

    1. Yes, the .lrwebengine package goes into the Web Galleries folder, and the 2016-Templates folder goes into the Web Templates folder. The specific location of those folders varies by operating system, but see our Install Guide for details.

  2. Thank you for sharing this. In the Adobe supplied Lightroom templates the image titles are shown above the “detail” or expanded image, and there is an ability to control the “detail matte” color and the “detail text” color. In the 2014 and 2016 packages that you shared the “Title” field for the images is not displayed at all, regardless of the field that I choose to have displayed. And there is no option to control the detail colors. I haven’t figured out if there is something that I can change in the CSS to display the titles nor to change the detail colors. If it is possible to just make the changes in the CSS and you can tell me what changes to make I’d be grateful.

    1. There are no options to control the appearance of the lightbox. The gallery uses Photoswipe, a third-party slideshow plugin, in its default configuration. If you’d like more customization options for your galleries, I encourage you to explore our premium offering, Backlight.

  3. I have downloaded the plugin on a French version of Lightroom CC.
But the gallery remains all English.
Any advice to have it in French ?

    Thank you.
